These are photographs of flies that were tied by T.E. Pryce Tannatt.
Some of these flies clearly demonstrate his obsession with short takes, as a result of which he started experimenting with proportions, moving body work further up the shank like we do with low water patterns. Nobody ever solved the mystery of the short takes, and while we can have a wonderful discussion on the subject, Pryce Tannatt made his mark on history with some brilliantly elegant flies.
